All photos in Traces

What’s left behind is sometimes as interesting as who left it. Almost all of the B&W photos in this series were shot over the course of two afternoons, a self-directed assignment when I was in photo class at UT in which I walked around the city looking for objects or markings that people had left behind, whether accidentally or purposefully. I realized that I had always looked for these things subconsciously, so I’ve continued photographing these traces.
